Valentine's Day and Parents' Night Out

Hello Redemption Families!

I hope you are having a great week! Well Valentine's Day is upon us and even if it's a holiday we dislike as adults, it's a fun one to share with our kids. As a little girl, I remember my parents taking my sisters and I out for dinner on Valentine's Day. We'd dress up for the special night and look forward to our little mini heart boxes of chocolates. My Will Be Done on Earth...

This week, I received a free book in the mail at church. It's a thick book, over 180 pages thick, and it's written by "Ron from Texas." Worship to Fight Poverty and Homelessness with N2N

Last Sunday was a great day for Redemption Church. Here is a picture of the worship service in Westport.  After the service, we shared a potluck lunch with our sister church, Revolution, and the people of...

Enough: My Plan to Simplify

Throughout the month of January, I'm preaching about the problems of overconsumption and greed we all face. My hope with this series, "Enough Already: Conversations about Things and Stuff", is to share about the alternative way of Jesus. That said, I need to get my act together before pretending like I can help anyone else break their "stuff addiction."

I love...
